The story goes...
Our rabge of varietal wines capture the heart and soul of the magnificent diversity of “terroirs” present throughout the Languedoc. We use both tradition and innovation to express the true essence of the grape varietal.
Press and Awards
The Buyer (DK), February 2021, Syrah 2019 “(…) vibrant, fresh, peppery, red-fruited expression of altitude Syrah. Polished, there’s subtle oak, but the sensual spice is fruit-driven.”
* vin très réussi. « Pourpre brillant à reflets violines, il dévoile un nez et caractéristiques de cassis et de violette. En bouche, une solide charpente soutient une matière ample. »
*1 étoile Guide Hachette
Jancis Robinson - 17/20. "Vincent Chansault (the winemaker) is a big fan of the Rhône. Very good structure. Cool and sleek and very polished. Very, very fresh. Very un-Languedoc!”

Tasting notes
Deep red colour with purplish highlights. The remarkably complex nose offers fruity notes (blueberry, blackcurrant…) and floral notes (violet, peony) followed by scents of black pepper and liquorice. The palate is full-bodied and well-balanced, harmonising the fruity aromas found on the nose with pepper and hints of vegetation. The tannins, still young, give structure to the palate. A rich wine with a long finish.
