I've been exploring (and enjoying!) organic wines for years, and now I'm thrilled to have created four the brand new organic wines for River Cottage, a collaboration with pioneering wine-maker Vincent Chansault at Domaine Gayda in the Languedoc region of France.
Named after some of the beautiful birds that thrive in Gayda's biodiverse vineyards, The Lark (red), The Finch (white), The Redstart (rosé) and The Wabler (sparkling) represent a lighter, livelier style of modern wine making. They are full of character and charm rom carefully chosen grape varieties grown in harmony with nature, [and the unique opportunity that comes from having different slopes to grow on, some facing Mediterranean weather systems, others getting prevailing Atlantic breezes].
It's my great pleasure to welcome you to our River Cottage Wine Club. I'm sure you will enjoy discovering and sharing these wonderful wines.
