
The story goes...
The Flying Solo range flies in the face of convention, shunning international varieties in favour of the typical Mediterranean Grenache grape which forms its backbone, blended with Syrah, Viognier or Cinsault. It celebrates the intrepid ‘Aéropostale’ pilots who risked life and limb to ensure postal deliveries in the 1920s.

Tasting notes
Explosion of red fruits on the nose. Soft tannins, smooth and fruity palate. Medium body. Fresh finish.

Traditional vinification for Grenache. , Short maceration at low temperature for Syrah.

Vineyards
Limestone plateaus in Minervois.

Ageing
On fine lees - Blending - Sterile filtration prior to bottling.
