The ‘Flying Solo’ range flies in the face of convention, shunning international varieties in favour of the typical Grenache grape which forms its backbone, blended with Syrah, Viognier or Cinsault respectively. It celebrates the intrepid Aéropostale pilots who risked life and limb to ensure postal services in the 1920s.
50% Cinsault
Tasting notes
A bright, brilliant pale pink colour and salmon-pink highlights that emphasise its finesse. The nose is very floral, opening with acacia and elderflower, followed by delicate nuances of wild berries and grapefruit, always with restraint and elegance. On the palate, the lively, tangy attack brings immediate freshness. Raspberry and fresh grapefruit express themselves with precision, while the mid-palate gains in fullness and envelops the palate. The finish, carried by a mouth-watering and perfectly controlled acidity, prolongs the pleasure.
