December 2018: some great bottles for the holidays
Winter temperatures after a mild autumn, advertising messages making you believe in Santa Claus… the end-of-year festivities are fast approaching and everyone is wondering, according to their means, what they will be able to put at the foot of the Christmas tree, on their plates and in their glasses… For the latter, Claire en France has put together, as usual, a selection of wines that we think you’ll enjoy, after having impressed us during our tastings. Wines for celebrations that you’ll be able to match with delicate dishes, according to the combinations that your palate – and your imagination – will tempt you to try. Of course, the“Wines of the Month” for the whole of 2018 will also come in handy when the time comes to choose.
Happy December and a very merry Christmas and New Year!

Pays d’Oc Domaine Gayda Figure Libre 2016 is a 100% organically grown Cabernet franc. It is deliberately fruity to let the grapes express themselves through natural vinification. Its aromas of paprika, blackcurrant and black cherry suggest a rich, structured wine that is confirmed on the palate. A welcome acidity and great refinement (16€).
