Rosé, rosa, … let’s share a few pretty rosés for sunny days

Will the weather remain fine? Here, hopefully, is a very large handful of rosés from Provence, Languedoc and a few others. Some are sold in supermarkets, but not all.

La Minuette 2020 Pays d’Oc Gayda BIO vegan

Nacre’s subtle nose displays scents of lychee and kumquat, pear and jasmine, apricot and pepper. Sappy and tasty, with a lovely freshness enhanced by a saline flavor that delights us. Like the fragrances of cherry and lemon, watermelon and tangerine, whose graceful notes join those we’ve smelled. All this spicy fruitiness nestles in the smooth texture of this elegant, gourmet rosé.

The pink of this blend of 60% Mourvèdre, 15% Syrah, 15% Grenache and 10% Cinsault recalls that of the minuette, a rose planted by Tim Ford in Kenya in 1982. Partly hand-harvested in crates, partly machine-harvested, direct pressing and sulfur-free vinification between 14°C and 18°C. Aged on fine lees for 3 months. 9,20€
