A few rosés for a beautiful, deconfined season
Good rosé is no longer the exclusive preserve of Provence. All vineyards are turning pink. This gives us a broad spectrum. From extremely pale to blood pink, from very dry to very smooth, we’ve selected a few bottles to suit all palates.
La Minuette – Domaine Gayda
Its name is a nod to a variety of roses planted in Kenya in 1982 by Gayda founder Tim Ford. A blend of 60% mourvèdre, 15% syrah, 15% grenache and 10% cinsault, its grapes are harvested at La Livinière, a Languedoc terroir renowned for its cru. This organic Minuette is as pale as it is subtle, even if its grapefruit…rose notes make themselves felt.
