The story goes...

Inspired by The Passenger, the classic pop-rock anthem by Iggy Pop, its inherently restless character is expressed through a red and a white wine that are made from a different vineyard, terroir and grape variety every vintage, underscoring its ephemeral nature.
This ‘rolling stone’ concept is clearly mirrored in the labelling of En Passant with constantly changing imagery designed as a storyboard.

Press and Awards

Decanter, 3 Feb. 2021 : 90 pts “A deep, rich and concentrated nose here full of black cherries and blackcurrants. It is soft and smooth palate with wonderful depth of fresh raspberry and red cherry flavours accented by balancing acidity to keep freshness and liveliness.(…)”
The Buyer - David Kermode - 10 Feb. 2021 "80 percent Syrah, with 20 percent Cinsault, ripe and concentrated, there’s more muscle than Chansault’s other Syrah blends. Morello cherries, leafy blackcurrant and ripe raspberry abound and there’s a note of Earl Grey."
Wine Spectator, Sep. 2019 : 88 pts. "Medium-bodied, with fresh raspberry and cherry fruit, accented by herb, spice and tea details. Floral hints chime in on the moderately tannic finish."
